From the South:
Take I-26 West to I-240 East (Exit 3B to Asheville). Travel on I-240 East to Exit 4A to US 19/23/UNC-Asheville/Weaverville (far left lane). Once on US 19/23/Future I-26, get off at exit 19A to US 25/70 to Marshall. Bear right on 25/70 to Marshall. Travel approximately 4 miles and Turn Right on to Jupiter Rd (you will see a small ReCreation Experiences sign). Travel 0.4 miles on Jupiter Rd and make your first right onto Lower Flat Creek and then an immediate left (95ft) onto Red Oak School Road. This road will dead end into the ReCreation Experiences complex.
From the North:
Take I-26 East / US 19/23 S to Exit 19 (US 25/70 to Marshall). Turn Right and travel West on US 25-70 towards Marshall. Travel approximately 4 miles and Turn Right on to Jupiter Rd (you will see a small ReCreation Experiences sign). Travel 0.4 miles on Jupiter Rd and make your first right onto Lower Flat Creek and then an immediate left (95ft) onto Red Oak School Road. This road will dead end into the ReCreation Experiences complex.
From the West:
I-40 East to US 25/70 E towards Newport. Continue on US 25 South/70 East. Turn Left onto Jupiter Road. (you will see a small ReCreation Experiences sign). Travel 0.4 miles on Jupiter Rd and make your first right onto Lower Flat Creek and then an immediate left (95ft) onto Red Oak School Road. This road will dead end into the ReCreation Experiences complex.
From the East:
I-40 West and exit at 53B onto I-240 West. Take the US-19/23/UNC-A/Weaverville Ramp to the right. Once on US 19/23/Future I-26, get off at exit 19A to US 25/70 to Marshall. Financial Contributions:
ReCreation Experiences is approved
by the Federal Government as a Charitable Organization. All gifts
to the organization are tax deductible under the laws governing contributions
to 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) organizations. Please contact us to make a contribution
or for more information.
ReCreation Experiences is a fee for service program. The largest
portion of our funding comes directly from those who participate in
a Mission Program with us. The fees paid per person underwrite the
cost for operating the various programs. In order for us to do more
for the clients we serve and expand the services we offer, ReCreation
Experiences accepts financial support from individuals, groups and
others.
Financial Contributions can be made to:
General Fund:
When you contribute to our
General Fund, you are supporting all of the ongoing programs of ReCreation
Experiences. Your gift helps support all of our programs as well as
our operating expense at our base camp.
Emergency Needs Fund:
This fund assists families
in need in the times when our programs are not running or volunteers
are not available. Your support will: repair a leaking roof, replace
old plumbing or electrical problems, repair leaking plumbing or thaw
and repair frozen pipes in the winter, replace heating systems, provide
weather sealing for windows and doors.

Your gift will go to support
families who have the ability to perform the work themselves but not
the financial resources to purchase the materials needed.

Clean Up and Carry Away Program
Through the generous gift of
Griffin Waste Services of Asheville and The Buncombe County Landfill
we have been able to place dumpsters at sites where our volunteers
can fill them for site clean ups. The cost for this service has been
donated by Griffin and the expense for dumping has been waived by Buncombe
County. Griffin Waste Services has graciously given us the usage of
the dumpsters for their cost of $100.00 per site. You can underwrite
the cost of the Clean Up with a gift of $100.00
Vehicles
ReCreation Experiences constantly
has a need for good working vehicles. We depend on vehicles for transporting
materials to sites and transporting staff. We accept donations of
vehicles for usage in the program or, to sale in order to underwrite
the cost of operating our vehicle fleet. Contact our office if you
have a vehicle to donate. Sharing our faith through home repair mission.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
